Terms and Conditions

AMW Digital is a sole trader business operated by Amy Walker. By engaging my services you agree to the following terms.
1. Services
I provide website builds, digital business support, and related services as agreed in writing before work begins. The exact scope, deliverables and price will be confirmed in a written quote or proposal.
2. Quotes & Proposals
Quotes are valid for 30 days. Work begins once you confirm acceptance in writing (email is fine). Any changes to scope after work has started may affect the price and timeline - I'll always let you know before proceeding.
3. Payment
A deposit of 50% is required before work begins on website projects. The remaining balance is due on completion before the site goes live. Retainer fees are invoiced monthly in advance. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice. Late payments may result in work being paused.
4. Your responsibilities
To deliver your project on time I need you to provide content, images, feedback and approvals promptly. Delays caused by late content or feedback may affect the timeline and are not my responsibility.
5. Project pause & restart
If I do not receive required content, feedback, or approvals within 30 days, the project may be placed on hold. Projects paused for more than 60 days may be subject to a restart fee and a revised timeline.
6. Revisions
The number of revision rounds included is stated in your quote. Additional revisions beyond this will be charged at my standard hourly rate.
7. Website launch approval
You are responsible for reviewing and approving the website before launch. Once approved and published, any additional changes will be treated as new work and charged accordingly.
8. Warranty
Any issues directly resulting from my work reported within 14 days of launch will be corrected at no additional charge. This does not include changes requested by the client or issues caused by third-party services.
9. Third-party services
Any third-party costs — including but not limited to Wix subscriptions, domain names, email services, plugins, or software licences — are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Ownership & intellectual property
Upon receipt of final payment, ownership of the completed website content and deliverables transfers to you. I retain ownership of any pre-existing tools, templates, processes, or materials used to create the project. I retain the right to display completed work in my portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
11. Confidentiality
I will keep your business information confidential and will not share it with third parties except where necessary to deliver your project.
12. Cancellations
If you cancel before work has started, your deposit will be refunded minus any costs already incurred. Once work has started, deposits are non-refundable and you will be invoiced for any additional work completed beyond the value of the deposit. Retainer agreements require 30 days written notice to cancel.
13. Limitation of liability
My total liability arising from any project or service shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for that project or service. I shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or loss of profit, revenue, business, or data.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
